Is it February 08 or not?

February seems to have been built up as the 'big month' !!
We are all waiting!!
But the Junta will decide when they want to....not because of us
Huma are running a business and so they are commercial in their approach
If we were Huma we may do the same!!
But that does not help any of us
Those who have now got out.....well have either given up on this part of Spain or any Spain or are now enjoying the sun!!!
Lets just hope....and it must be hope....that those who are still in....will eventually get some benefit
We have a Tarifa and you can not get similar even in the static market at the same price today
If ACC does re start....it has been worth the wait....long time...if not then lessons learned
I hope I am wrong, but I do not expect a Junta decision by end of Feb
Elections 9th March and the Junta, who want to develop this part of Almeria have different views to the local councils...see the POTA for this area!!
Why should the Junta make a decision just before a national election when they do not have to!!
I do not know the answer...hope I am wrong...politics stopped ACC perhaps it will re start it!!
1 year to approve a Local Plan in UK is ' very short time scale' ...we have public Inquiries etc....so if Spain moves faster [ and I think their planning system is not as open to public scrutiny as ours] then perhaps 'April' which is 1 year after the local council approved it, is the a better date!!!
I will go to ACC on the last day of February 08 [ in Spain 27/02/-12/03] and hope to celebrate!!            

Anyone else in Spain on last day of  Feb 08...why not all meet on site 11 am....we can celebrate in Cuevas or drown our sorrows!!!

Just spoken to parador spain regarding A CC and the possibility of a transfer to another development , advised that the property a ACC would be ready before that of another development??

Decision on ACC imminent , yes but how imminent we have waited nearly 4 years! By comparison only a short time we were advised.

We were also advised that we could not get anything in the price bracket that we had reserved/paid 40% for in that region let alone with the 10% discount mentioned on offer from huma to transfer to another development.

We are looking to go to almeria at the end of this month or sometime in march and the meeting on site at 11 on the last day,thats a possiblity.

the area of almanzora has not been approved and has been put on hold, the town hall has advised that it will take more than 1 year before this is done, the junta apparently want new plans drawn up, acc will eventually go ahead but will probably be several more years yet and who knows what the new plans will involve.

this was the info given to my lawyer by the secretary of cuevas town hall.
