Good Day Everybody,

I don't want to seem as if I am looking at life through "rosey coloured glasses", but I cannot find anything to back up these allegations that Grupo Trampolin have had its assets frozen.   I've 'phoned the Company  this morning and was told  business is as usual.   They have started building on T.H and the construction will commence in 2 or  3 weeks time.    At  Royal Dreams they are looking at the Summer before construction starts.  There will be sceptics and wind up merchants who will say, "they would say that", but they were working this morning and knew nothing of these allegations.

I have spoken to people at El Trampolin and they certainly don't think they live in a hell hole.   I am sure if I had taken the time to ask everyone, there may have been a few disgruntled people, but that's life!

My house in Alicante was a new build and I was on builders supply for 12 months. Great, I wasn't paying the bill, the builders were!

The last thing anybody needs or want is another Northern Rock panic. This could damage to the Company.

We are going out at Easter and promise to keep you informed.

Not quite sure what to say about all the info on the bank account being frozen.  Yet again I'm thrown into confusion.  We went up to TH site (Campos del Rio) on 25th Feb to pick 'n' choose as they say.  Not a lot to choose from but then we new we wouldn't have from previous visits.  That having been said I think the more choice you have the more difficult it is to choose.   I didn't take any more photos because they had only cemented over the iron foundation which are already shown on photos.  They did, however, start to dig out the foundation of plots further down and they have pegged out the plots ready for further digging.  In fact it was good to see quite a lot of workmen actually working.

Now we come to the point of the bank accounts being frozen.  I have emailed our sales girl, Jane, our agent and TH solicitor, Pilar.   If I hear anything I will share the info I receive.  Reading this thread yesterday left me and my husband feeling pretty cheesed off yesterday and I had a sleepness night.

Dear All,

Re frozen bank accounts.  One point ot add about the "Embargo of Bank Account" is that the Murcia bulletin was dated 20th February.  As I menionted we were at the site on 25th Feb when work was continuing and we have been in correspondence with the office up to and including 29th February with no problems.  Clearly business is continuing but I guess we all need to know what is behind the embargo.  By embargo - it can mean that there was just a suspension of the account.  This doesn't necssarily mean that we are going to lose our money.

Will keep you informed as and when.

I'm sure were all in a very confused state of mind at the moment and I for one really have no more imformation as to what the frozen bank details mean at the moment, I do know they are continuing to work on site, they have also updated their web site to now show their latest offer and development at Barinas, whilst all that could be a ploy to keep money coming in from future investers, the Spanish have now found our site on EOS and are concerned about what we are writing, they are saying various things which you should take a look for yourselves as you have to translate it then transate the english and into english that makes sense,I have tried to join their forum but am getting an error in processing,anyone who has good spanish may be able to check the forum and update us more accurately than the google translater I'm using. After my trip in Feb and all the good news I appeared to bring back with me , I now have stuggled for days to join the thread as I am so dissapointed with what has been said lately, I'm sure I'm not alone when I say all the bad  news from El Trampolin has come far too late in the day for us TH purchasers, I have no Idea how the Royal Dream investors are feeling as they are not writing on their forum,though some I know are writing on here, As many of you know i follow other developments and can say that many of the problems that have been posted here lately are common amongst other developments, Spain is going through changes which affect buyers of property there, And the old system of build now apply for licence later is dissapearing, Some of you may know I have land for development in spain I was told many times just build and pay the fine later,that would of been a terrible idea and on my last trip in feb i was imformed that my local mayor is now in prison,lets all hope these issues can all be resolved and we can get back to dreaming of long hot summer days.

The embargo on the bank account is similar to G.B. that if you owe somebody £50 they can freeze your account it is apparently quite common in Spain for accounts to be frozen in this way, it could just be a tax matter or probably something petty like paying the wrong national insurance on wages etc, but at the moment I for one am not loosing any sleep over it. 

(its probably the Spanish plonker who kept posting the negative comments thats frozen the account??)  

Keep your chins up and don`t let the buggers grind you down......

hi everyone,

firstly I want to apologise, as I feel responsible for this bad news, if i hadnt raiesd the issue about el trampolin then i would not have got the rsponse that I did nayway too late now and at least we can ALL try and find out what is going on.  I called my solicitor on friday and she said she ciuldnt find anything but obviously there is  AN account frozen somewhere but it could be anything.  I shall call her again monday am and see if she can throw. any light on the matter she is also waiting for an answer from the town hall re the licence.  Has anybody got clear clarification  that it is the OVERHAUL licence that has been passed and not just the LOCAL one.

Firstly may I say how comforting it is to have so many level headed members on this site to temper the the negativity that comes through.We've decided to go to the site next week. Could anybody please oblige with directions from the C415. Is the site signposted from the Motorway, or is their an address that might work with the SAt. Nav. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Will report any findings when we return.

Hi Al and Mave,

From Murcia if you take the main road for Mula and take the first turn off for Campos del Rio TH resort will be on your right.  (I  am fairly sure that is correct, getting old now and the brain not quite as good as it was).

and  if anybody is interested the reason and who has put the embargo on TH account will be posted at the Murcia tax office they will not give you any information over the phone.

i have not got much to say but noticed from the posts that there is some trouble with the frozen bank account does anyone have any news on this,

On the Spanish forum for buyers on TH they are saying that Grupo Trampolin have not paid any national insurance for their workers since last August, and so the frozen account is due to unpaid taxes, and its not worth phoning TH as the girls have been told to say business as usual,  they are also saying so many bad things I'm too dissapointed to repeat.

I have also read the forum Dave is talking about.  I have read both the Spanish and English translated version.  However, the latter not the best Queens English, but if you can understand the Spanish, then it's quite clear.

From the Spanish forum and in Spanish, what is evident is that the Spanish are experiencing the same problems as us English.  There is alot of confusion amongst the buyers and the Company.  They too have the scaremongers who attitudes are unbelievable.  What I can make out is the building that has commenced at Trampolin Hills at the moment is being done on a "provisional" licience, the main licence has yet to be granted.  It is a big political issue with the Town Hall and the PP.  They do expect to commence proper building in 10 days time.  Urmhhhh where have we heard this before? 

The staff at the main site office are being told to answer all enquiries with "everything is normal, there is no problem" and will not answer queries or questions posed by Spanish purchasers or English come to that!

It does not appear a pretty picture at the moment and I hope to God that things change and we hear better news.

I do not panick. After all, reading "between the lines" from El. Trampolin, the quality of the properties are high, we all will get what we are paying for - in the end!

In my proffessional life I deal a lot with large contracts (Not house building, but large contracts in the industry) and there is not one single contract that I have been involved in where everything has gone its way smoothly and with no hazzle.
Every big projects (like TH) has its contractual issues, legislation issues, money issues, schedule issues, strategic issues, etc. a lot of things needs to fall into order before the building can start, a lot of planning has to be done, all the right forms etc has to be filled in....Thats what we are paying TH to do for us, otherwise we could have bought a piece of land and start all the processing ourselves, I do not think that would be any easier

If you dig deep enough into a large project, you will always find something that is not according to the book. 

I suggest that we all put our minds together and thinks positive and let TH do their "cooking" without to much noise, but we should pay attention and follow closely the progress, I really think the building will start any minute now.

I said I would let you know if I heard anything.  I did get a reply but it was just to say that there was nothing to worry about.  So basically what you have read on previous posts today is all I have been told.  I work for an american firm of solicitors in the real estate department and yes, what Ogo is saying is quite true.  Nothing ever runs smoothly.  I guess we will just have to sit and be patient yet again.

Hi guys,

I had a conversation with someone called mariacarmen today, who told me that there was town hall meeting tonight that should ive TH their full licence and it has all been very political.  She also told me that TH are waiting for monies to be released which is too the tune of approximately 3 million pounds to start the building once the licence has been granted.  The contracted builders can then start their work.  My solicitor is also loookin into this for me so once i hear I shall let you allknow.  I shall call this girl tomorrow and see what she has to say.

Just a quicky i have had a email from our agent they have sent the details from the lawyers about the bank account issue stating dont give this any importance its a rumour hope this puts some of us at rest.iam sure there will be another issue next week but for now i feel happy.
