We bought two apartments at Las Lomas off-plan, a penthouse in block 1, and a ground floor in block 7. We were assured that the ground floor apartment would have a clear sea view over the block in front and only found this not to be the case when we carried out our 'snagging' visit recently. We believe misrepresentation has taken place and are considering taking legal action. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I,ve bought 1 appt in las lomas. No problem with the veiw, but i was dissapointed that the price had hardly increased at all over a 2 1/2 year period.
I also need to rent this appt out as much as possible and am wondering, considering how many developments there are on the coast, how much of a problem this is going to be.

We have also purchased in Block 7 Ground floor and believe the property has been misrepresented to us , the financial model was not in accordance with the real market and now we stand to forfeit our deposit.

I,m going to conde luque on saturday for a few days to carry out second snagging.
Anyone else out there at the same time and on a similar mission, please feel free to get in touch.
I think its probably a good idea to get to know some of the other owners, compare notes, etc.

22nd January
Have just returned from Conde Luque (18th Jan) weather was good.
Now have the keys and yes the water and electric was on. No-one there to speak to other than the security guard, who helped with turning on the power in the fuse box. Several of our power points do not seem to be working, only found out when we tried a lamp in them. Need to find out about the alarm system as I think we require a code to switch the beeping noise off. Hoped to find someone in the reception area but all locked up. Does anybody have a name or number of who we should contact. Pat and Betty Block 6

Hi to all.
Have just returned from Conde Luque.
Spent about 4 days solid, shopping for bits for the appartment and pilled it up each day in the back of our tiny kia hire car. We even managed to get a table and 4 chairs for the kitchen in there.
I,ve been on the phone to the developers about the dometic alarm system and they tell me that the administrator will be recieving instruction manualls within the next week , which hopefully will then be forwarded to the owners. (I,m not holding my breath). The administrator is Tomas Sanchez. 0034 952 444 840. As of yet i have been unable to speak to anyone on that number who speaks English but i am informed that such a person does exist, so i shall keep trying, both the telephone and Spanis lessons.
Lifts still not working.
We are very pleased with the appartment and comlplexe in general, although i did not expect the maintenance charges to be so high. I have spoken to other owners on similar developements who are paying around 200 eruo.
What does anybody else think?

Hi to anyone out there
We too are pleased with the appartment and spent a few days trying to buy bits and pieces. It will take time to make it feel like home. Let's hope we get some instructions in english with regard to the alarm system soon.
We thought, as did our solicitor, that the maintenance fees were rather high. Who can we question about that?
We will be out there again at the end of March 23-27th, so will see if there is anyone about, as there was no-one except a security guard in January.

We are due to go out again as we are still awaiting, the rest of our furniture, we ordered it about 4 months ago, and still only got part of it delivered (Very Dissapointed), every time we call, we are told we will get a call back

We also have the same furniture issue, which is a shame, because we were pleased with the furniture that did turn up on the arranged date and the crew who did the instal were good.Still waiting for a delivery date for the ballance.
