ACC.  Yep, we ordered our villa sometime ago.  Trying to get our money back under the bank guarantee.

Our villa should have been ready this month and that was after giving a 6 month extension to Huma, as per the contract.  FINE.  OK it's not going to be ready.

So, my question is.   Did Parador sell these "off plot" villas under false pretences because they must have known that all the licences were not in place; presuming they did their homework before taking on a client.

I personally paid for the "After Sales Service"  which I am now not going to need.   Will I get this fee back?

Any sensible comments please.

Thanks

Ref: What Next

I would imagine that Parador are under a definite obligation to return your "After Sales" payment..... which was around £300 if my memory serves (I paid mine well over 2 years ago so I've forgotten the exact amount)

You haven't had any so called "Service" so you should be entitled to a full refund. Parador will no doubt ignore your request in the hope that eventually you will get tired and frustrated with asking, and therefore give up.

Since I subscribed to the After Sales Service (over 2 years ago) I have had one letter thanking me for subscribing and one "building progress" report telling me that work has yet to be started on my property (well, well, well, not exactly breaking news!)
If I quit then I will chase them like hell for a return of my "After Sales" money.

Hello Redhead

Very little has happened during the 4 years of agents first releasing the ACC development to the public. I know the Spanish like using the word "mañana" and a delay is expected, but this has turned into a farce and time-wise is totally unacceptable.
Things of course are made worse by fat cat selling agents just sitting on their large commissions and saying nothing to their clients. They use answer machines, voice mail or even the office junior (who knows nothing about anything) in order to fend off queries from anxious buyers.
I purchased 2 Aromas nearly 3 years ago and paid over £500 for the After Sales Service (2) to be kept informed of progress (Joke!) I've received 5 second class letters from the selling agents in all that time telling me nothing more relevant than I can gather from this forum.
5 x 23p equals £1-15p. Not a bad mark-up for a payment of 500 quid over 3 years!

Why on earth are you guys paying Parador for after sales service?  I am totally amazed that an agent would consider asking any client to pay for an after sales service - it is all part of the selling process as far as we are concerned.

What is this special fee paying service supposed to include???

A refund?

You'll be lucky if you even get a reply.
