Hi folks,
It has been a quiet day today with little to report, with the usual watering going on all around, men hoovering the bottom of my pool
then adding chemicals into the water.Ive been told it should be open in four days time which is excellent news.
The Golf course had its daily watering and feed.and the greens look beautiful.
Apart from my passion of guitar music and learning to play (badly) some of you may be interested to know I write poetry and belong to an American
Internet site called All Poetry .com.Where I have my own page containing over 70 poems of mine.
When I started to write on the Hacienda Riquelme forum,I informed the readers that this was such a large step for me to take, moving out here
and completely changing my life, but all the concerns I had vanished once I was here and moved in.Im sure all of you had similar concerns
and buying out here was a big step for you as it was for me.and I do hope you all feel like I do once your here and settled in.
Back in 2005 I wrote this poem conveying my thoughts, fears and dreams,
VIVA ESPANA
As I stand and face towards the Future
With great uncertainty deep in my mind
Picturing a life with bright new horizons
Is Utopia really out there for me to find
Will I find the kind of life Im searching for
Is it a pipedream or merely just a myth
If my hopes and dreams cannot be found
Then I know I will no longer wonder if
I know I will have tried and pursued
To find myself a better kind of life
This time I will have to make it on my own
As I no longer have a wife
The time now is rapidly approaching me
When employment is a thing of the past
Where life is run by the hands of a clock
And my life and time are disappearing fast
I truly hope what I am doing is right for me
Time to up sticks and pack my bags and go
This unknown journey is something I must do
I have to take this chance or I will never know
With the beautiful sounds of Spanish guitars
Sangria and the warm Mediteranean sea
To discover my Rainbow has a crock of gold
Would surely mean everything to me.
Bye for now Lennie
