Has anyone had their Bank Guarantee updated in the last three months. Our solicitor can't get a reply from the builders and is now sending them a recorded letter. We paid 800 euros for the Bank Guarantee back in 2005 and it was supposed to be updated in January 2008 but wasn't.

I believe Bank guarantees were being offered free by Peinsa along with white goods after Phase 3 was sold. Did anyone manage to get free bank guarantees in the first three phases?

Has any one had their guarantee updated in the last 2 months. Mine (Phase 8) expired in MArch and still haven't recieved the replacement. I have never paid for the guarantee or updates.
By the way are all you lucky people in phases 1-3 going to complete in June as promised?

Who's to say, Curtis, if we'll complete in June. Our Spanish solicitor said our Phase 2 property will be completing imminently but he got that wrong - we're Phase 3. If they are all finished in one then maybe. But I wouldn't be booking a flight yet. He assures us we'll have a month to sort out a mortgage.
