Me and my hubby are members at Aguilon and he has now played it 4 times, I've only had time to do the front 9 holes. It is a fabulous course but long. There are some long carries from the tee. They have left the natural drainage canyons down the mountain as natural hazards. Hubby plays off 21 and is generally getting about 30 points so not impossible but definitely challenging and the views are pretty good too.
Fees are €50 low season, €65 high season (sorry don't know what months come under high and low, but fees are currently €50)
As platinum members any guest we take gets to play for half price so Neil's son has been playing this week at €25 a time, so they've done 3 rounds in a week.
There is a small club house with shop, nice changing facilities and a small snack bar although we only tend to have a drink there after the game, usually coffee for me and lager for Neil.
I'm hoping to take some photos next time I am playing - need any excuse for a poor score!! I'll post them as soon as I have some.
We love it here, only 3 weeks in and even with the difficulties we are having with the Town Hall at Pulpi over our empadriamento (see my blog if you want an idea of dealing with official matters) and most of the roads being closed or dug up - we get to our place across a building site at the moment while they do the new road. It's all good fun.
Anyone coming over this summer that wants to meet up with us, let me know, we'd love to meet some of our new neighbours to be.
