Hello,

Has anyone heard of Codeur? They have started taking money from my account?

And sending me a bill to my UK address.

We live on Valle  del este  Vera

Thanks.

They are the water company local to Vera. Can't remember the name of the other company, but they took over the water supply in our area a few years ago.

Hi Kenny,

Codeur is the Company that supplies water.  They may have taken over from your previous supplier.  We have been trying to get them to send invoices/receipts to us in the U.K. but have not managed to do so yet.  Hope this helps.

Thanks Gents.

The other water company was Galasa, who was superb

Regular bills of 11 euro.

I have not been to our house for most of the year - new bills 16 euro per month.

Any ways have a nice Xmas.

Oh Marksfish notice you live in Puerto Rey - Any nice Bars Restauramts nearby?

Ah yes Galassa, that was our previous supplier too.  We don't get water bills (never have despite regualr emails to Joaquin in the Vera office)), but apparently you can register online for billing somewhere. The amount shows on a slip the bank includes with our statement, but it's a bit late after it's bentaken.

We have El Gnomo Feliz II as you turn off the main road, which is a little bar/ restaurant with pool table, bar and internet cafe. Heather is the English speaking girl there and works most days. Food is alright, but nothing special. Great bar snacks though!!

Opposite the Mercadona is Keoke which is wholly Spanish. Good for helping to improve your Spanish as they don't speak any English, so you can have great evenings with Spanglish and pretending to be Magnus Pyke .

Further down the bottom of Puerto Rey (much easier now the new roads are open) there is El Balconcito. Friendly staff and good tapas.
