Hi
I'm new here so be gentle, please. I am currently living in Cyprus, and have been here for almost 5 years, but now feel the time has come to move on. I am considering the Mar Menor area of Spain but need some feedback. Do you think it's suitable for a retired single lady? I have asthma and really suffer here in Cyprus with all the dust and the extremely high humidity, but I have read on the internet that the Mar Menor area doesn't get such high humidity levels, and is quite healthy for people with asthma/chest complaints. Anyody have any experience of this? Also, when renting property in Cyprus the rents are usually negotiable - is that the case in Spain as well>
I look forward to hearing any of your thoughts.

Hi
I would highly recommend the area we love it. Take a look at this page it tells you a little about the an area called lo pagan it is a lovely place http://www.rentals-rodagolf.co.uk/Murcia/lo-pagan-mud-baths.html
Also another place is http://www.rentals-rodagolf.co.uk/Murcia/Pilar_de_la_Horadada.html it also has a lot of retired pensioners there enjoying the benifits of the healthy atmosphere etc.
I cant wait to retire I will be moving out for sure :)
I would not be able to offer any rentals as we visit ourself several times a year along with the rest of the family but I am sure you would be able to find accommodation in and around the area with reasonable rental fees you can always put a offer in . Good Luck

Thanks for that - it is sounding ever more appealing to me. Good to know you can negotiate on rents too. Thanks again.
