Road works near Mijas

Could anyone tell me if these roadworks are finished yet? i was in coin last year and getting to La Cala was not possible without dropping down to fuengirola from Mijas. A couple of years ago i used to be able to turn off at the round about near Alhaurin and go the back way?

Yes they are finished at last, Alhaurin to the coast is now a joy.
