Problems with SKY+

Hi, for the last couple of days everytime I try and record anything using SKY+ the channel I'm trying to record shows as 'No Signal Being Received' (error 25), then if I cancel the recording the picture appears and the no signal message dissapears, does anyone know what could be causing this, I've tried to find the answer online but no joy. Thanks in advance if anyone can throw any light on whats happening

Are you using one cable or two cables from the LNB to the Sky+ box? That would restrich what you can do on the +box

Have you tried swapping the cables around?

It could be a cable problems...which may lead to an LNB problem.

But recently have found that some Amstrad Sky+ boxes have been acting really stange...like their tuners have just given up on life..

We are using a quad LNB, I will try and swap the 2 cables to the Sky+ box and see if that does the trick, it is an Amstrad box

swapping the cables didn't work, guess I'm gonna have to get a new box.

Take the opportunity and ugrade to a HD box.

These have a far superior program guide and can work in single feed mode.

Make sure you have a very high quality LNB, I use Invacom.
