TAKING A BG CASE BEFORE THE EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS
The Comments |
Can anyone cite an instance of a person going to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg over a Bank Guarantee issue – either not being given one in the first place, or having one not honoured or not receiving recompense after a court has ordered the bank to comply (non-enforcement of the law)?
If so, what were the circumstances, what was the result and how long did the process take start to finish? Finally, how much did it cost?
I would be grateful for any info re the above. Thanks.

To be honest Ruth, I've never heard of one... There are of course other ways and means however...
It does seem that in an ideal world this would be the case. The loss some people have had has truly affected their standard of living and in some cases been extremely detrimental to their health.
Can I ask, who did you purchase with and who issed (for want of a better word) the BG??
