SKY+ HD BOX

Hi,does anyone know if it is possible to bring a sky+hd box from England to replace the normal sky+ box? I've had a look on the sky website at the self instalation set up and it says you have to connect the box to a telephone line to activate the sky card and channels. I thought i would just have to swap the boxes over and pay the extra £10.25 per month subscription.

Simply swp your current cables from the old box to the new box.

Phone line connection is only required for new installations in the UK by Sky, and for multiroom contracted cards. As you already have a card, which is activated, , all oyu need to do is call them up and get your card paired to the box, and tell them you want to upgrade to HD.

Ensure when you call Sky that you hide your Spanish number from them...or use Skype. They will close you down if they know for certain you are in Spain.
