Does anyone know anything about the furniture stores of Bandera Vivar? Their website is under construction but they seem to have branches in Malaga, Fuengirola, Sevilla and Murcia

What do you want to know about them? I have been to their stores in Malaga - big one on one of the industrial estates and another showroom in town. Some good value items, but nothing special really.

I wondered what type of furniture they stock and how it compares with Furniture Express or Imperial in terms of quality and price.

Not familiar with the two shops you mentioned (I think Imperial may be a bit more upmarket, but it may just be the name that gives me that impression!) Bandera V are similar I would say to Sumobel, K-Mueble, Bufalo etc etc. There are loads of them. Looking at a recent circular of theirs, I would say the furniture is mostly modern, not high quality but OK, and pretty cheap. They advertise a complete apartment set for example: wall unit for living room; table; chairs; sofa-bed; double bedroom; childs bedroom: all for €1299! Probably made of balsa wood, but who cares if it's for rental?!
There is a central tel.no. to call: 902 404 402, and they can probably attend to your call in English.
Hope this helps.
