Well, we've had some amazing December weather down South but it seems it's all about to take a turn for the worse.
Severe weather warnings have been given for most of Spain. Here's a summary:
On yellow alert (normal risk) for wind Almería, Granada, Málaga, Huesca, Teruel, Ciudad Real, Guadalajara, Toledo, Avila, León, Palencia, Salamanca, Segovia, Valladolid, Zamora, Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, Tarragona, Melilla, Madrid, Navarra, Alicante, Ourense, Pontevedra, Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca, Álava and Murcia.
On orange alert (high risk) are Jaén, Zaragoza, Cantabria, Albacete, Cuenca, Burgos, Soria, Castellón, Valencia, A Coruña, Lugo, La Rioja, Vizcaya, Gipuzkoa, Asturias.
Also, on yellow alert for snow are Gipúzcoa, Asturias, Vizcaya, Álava, La Rioja, Navarra, Lleida, Cantabria, Huesca; mientras que Giuipúzcoa, Viizcaya, Pontevedra, Lugo, A Coruña and Navarra and are on similar alert for rain.
Yellow alert for rough seas in Almería, Granada, Málaga, Canarias, Barcelona, Girona, Melilla; orange alert in A Coruña, Lugo, Pontevedra, Ibiza and Formentera, Mallorca, Menorca, Asturias and red alert (very high risk) in Cantabria, Vizcaya and Guipúzcoa.
It's definitely very windy in the Manilva area today.
