best banks in spain

hi im opening a spainsh bank account which banks should i avoid ,and which is the best ,im only opening a current account

They are all crap like the banks in he UK but I find Bank inter are OK. I certainly wouldn't use Santander.

Whilst agreeing in the main with Don, in my personal experience I have found that the Cajas have given me a better service. I have had unpleasant experiences with several banks but the previous Caja I was with and the present one (where my wife and son also have accounts) have given us the best service.

how about the ING bank, does anyone have any comments about it, they don't have any charges for most transactions?/
