New Government plan to boost jobs & property market

The Government has just approved a plan to create 100,000 jobs and inject over 2400 million euros into the property services market and rental market. This will go towards grants and loans to help citizens finance up to 20% of the "energy efficiency" works on their home, restoration of properties, renewal of boilers etc. and a large chunk of it, 1500 million will go towards helping families in need access rental properties.

Hmm. Doesn't that sit at odds with last week's announcement that the HOTEL industry will get a boost by the government clamping down on rentals by demanding stiffer registration procedures and stopping casual holiday lets?
