hi and hello we are very new to this , first of all we are lookng to buy an appartment 1 or 2 bedrooms with a coastal location close to shops restraunts and was wondering if anyone can help recommend a location near alicante airport area ,we have a budget of around 60.000english pounds ,we are planning a trip in september so would realy appreciate any advise on where to start looking thaks simon

My last house was in a place called Punta Prima, going south from Alicante Airport about 50ish km's, used to take me about 45 min's using the N332, motorway quicker. This area is close to the new massive Boulevard shopping centre, about 15mins away, and close to another smaller one, 35mins away Dos Mares, another big indoor shopping centre, plenty of local shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants withing easy walking distance, great beaches all about 10 / 15 mins away......Fully regret selling the house in this area. Some great 2 bed places to buy new ones at that.

punts prima,playa flamenca,la zenia cabo roig all within 5kallnear beaches all lively good bars great restaurants central for exploring further afield we bought there 3yrs ago and love it, can't visit enough if you look around there you can't go wrong in my opinion something for everyone 45 minutes alicante 25 Murcia . happy hunting

Try Gran Alicant - amost as close to alicante as you can get. Lovely area neat shops and beaches. We stayed in some 2 story apartments a few years ago and I think this would be very suitable for you. Unfortunately can't remember the name of the complex but it did have lovely sea views.

There are other complexes nearby as well but we never stayed in any of those so I can't comment. I do feel the area around Grand Alacant is much more senic than further down the coast - but this is just my personal opinion and others may disagree.

Also i can get to gibralter airport and someone said la duqusa marina is only 25 mins away any thoughts.please keep the advise comming have found so helpful
