could anyone tell me what permissions or what planning and where do yo go if you are wanting a swimming pool built

Hi - you need the permission of the President of the community, if you are in a community, and then Planning Permission from the town hall.  Some builders will include all the paperwork in their quote, which makes life easier.  Just make sure they actually do it though, and get the licence to proceed before they start.  If you want to do it yourself then best to go to the Planning Offiice in your local town hall and ask them what is required.  For many years people simply built pools without any planning but the town halls are now seeking out illegal builds and fining people heavily.

I have a really good architect who can get all of the correct aperwork sorted out. It needs to be done properly otherwise you could up with some pretty nasty fines
