CONTRACTS
The Comments |
Hi, Wonder if anyone can help me out here. I've received contract from my lawyer and been told to read carefully. I will be going back to him with questions, but looks as though most things covered. As far as I can see: Builder owns the land Builder has permission to build There is a 10 year contract once build is complete Bank guarantee is available if we wish to ask for it(which we will!) We will not be responsible for builders electricity cost etc.
Is there anything else that I should be checking or is it mostly covered?? Any help would be appreciated.

Check out the list in the new laws, that is if you are buying in Andalucia.

Hi Jeanssis,
Do you really think that it means they may charge. I am pasting below the part from my contract that says about the Bank Guarantee:
'If purchase asks for it, the vendor commits itself to guarantee the amounts handed over for the purchase of the property object of this contract by means of a individual bank guarantee, in the terms and conditions of the Law 57.1968'
I am writing to my lawyer this evening so I will put in that I am not expecting to pay a penny for the guarantee under that law. I just interpreted it as it's there if you want it, there's no mention of paying anything in the contract.
