Community Maintenance

A little research if I may,

Has anyone especially Community Presidents come across a Licensia de Obra Menor, licence for minor works when attempting to carry out a repair and full exterior repainting programme on apartment blocks?

Having sought approval from owners to commence a repainting program as included in our bye-laws, our Administrator has just informed me that we need to apply for a licence to carry out this work from our local Town Hall who do nothing other than collect IBI from owners.

I would love to know if other Communities have applied for or ignored this licence..

So any idea of costs for a, Construction, Equipment and Works tax for repainting of facades, railings and wood work?

Do most Communities bother with applying?
