I can only guess points are awarded for:

1. Volume

2. Uniqueness of cackle

3. Integration to cackle of bad language

4. How many in group.

Both have completed all categories within 48 hours - they must get points for this!! Difficult to call who is leading may need a "shout off"

Sorry but I think your nominations have some serious competition from the Norwegian "group" of about 10 in a 3 bed townhouse. Starting off nice and sedate around the outside table, the noise gradually increases as the cheap booze is imbibed. About 10pm when the cackling competition starts and every joke suddenly becomes the funniest thing ever. About midnight, it is impossible to discern who is out-cackling who and all the women (sorry, ladies, but it is them who become the shrillest) are now screaming at each other to rise above the crescendo of shrieks.

The Russians generally act quieter as they slowly slip into oblivion with each bottle of vodka consumed. Trouble is, they let their kids play out in the streets and use the slope for their noisy skateboards at approaching midnight. The Brits, so far anyway, have been confining themselves to the karaoke pubs where they are egged on by their fellow Brits despite the so-called singing simply a competition in who can screech the loudest with a faint acknowledgement to a tune.

Ah, well, they are early this year. Hopefully they'll leave early as well.
