Hi,
Glad to have found this forum. We have everything to learn!
We are both retired, have 3 Jack Russels and intend to drive down next year once I have had a new hip.
We will go Portsmouth / St. Malo then onwards with a view to ending up in the Monda / Coin area for a month or two. (I hate the UK winters) We will eventually buy something, somewhere but have to sell property in Turkey first.
Any input happily accepted.

I'm sure many people on here will tell you not to buy straight away. Look around different areas, rent for a while and when you do decide to buy, check and double check that everything is right with the property to avoid getting stung.
Good luck.

Thanks Fartharder,
Sound advice indeed, I can't see the Turkey property selling quickly somehow so in the meantime I thought we may try the Holiday Home Swap idea and spend lots of time just looking. At the moment I favour Monda / Coin area as I have friends there. However who knows!

Hi WendyL,
If you do stay in Coin and fancy a sea front walk there is now a boardwalk that almost links La Cala and Puerto Cabopino, this shouldn't trouble your new hip as much as walking on sand.

Loving the advice and help. Thank you.
When driving down with dogs - St.Malo to Monda / Coin area.....
How many overnight stops do you reckon?
Plus do you pre book a dog friendly hotel?
or do you have a list and rock up and hope for the best?
Thank you x
