Writer and her well-behaved dog looking for winter rental in Marbella

My name is Sally Nicoll, and I'm looking for a six month rental somewhere between Marbella and San Pedro starting December/January/flexible. I'm a published author, and I want to come to the Costa del Sol to finish writing my latest book. The wish list is as follows: Sea view. Ideally front line or second line. Internet/ADSL connection. Pool. And NOT in the hills/mountains, or on a golf course. I shall be accompanied by my extremely well behaved Parson Jack Russell, Dow Jones. Budget flexible. Getting the right place is absolutely critical. Would also welcome advice about pet transportation (can't decide whether to fly him or let him come by road). And if anyone knows about cheap long-term car hire, that would also be helpful.
