Hi there. Im thinking of moving to spain this year. I'm a freelancer and able to work from home as long as I have a good internet connection. Im a musician also and would love to be somwhere with lots of music going on. Id like a balance of cultures so maybe a few brits sprinkled in ;)...(but not to many).... It also needs to be somewhere where my kids might be able to find part time work.

Hello Philwill and a warm welcome to EOS.
Are you and your children fluent in Spanish?

Hello Phil
You might find it a bit lonely with only a few sprinkled Brits you are able to speak with.
What part time work are you expecting or hoping for your non fluent children?

I dont mind Brits really, just love the spanish culture and not the whole pie n mash on the beach thing. My youngest girl is hairdressing, youngest son is Gardening. Not to sure if my older 2 would come but ones a chef and the other an artist like me.

Phil I wish you well but have you really thought this through. You don’t want to be with the pie n mash brigade but none of you speak Spanish. Your daughter is a none speaking Spanish hairdresser and your son gardener. Youth unemployment in Spain is 40%.
Phil what sort of artist are you?
