Blue Badge

Can I use my blue badge in spain, are there designated parking spaces.

Is your blue badge issued by Spain or the UK?

I'm assuming you mean your UK  blue badge and, yes, you can use it in Spain in designated areas. Be aware that some disabled parking spaces have a registration number under them and that is only for the use of that particular car.

Also be aware that you can only use it as a non-resident, that is as a visitor. If you become resident you must apply for a Spanish blue badge.

If the UK continues to recognise EU issued blue badges after the transition period, it's reasonable to assume the EU will also agree to recognise UK issued badges. It may be best therefore to assume that from next year your UK badge will be valid only in the UK.

Thanks for your answers, the badge was issued in the UK

Be aware.  

In spain you can only park with the blue badge in an area where parking is allowed. 
In U.K. one can park almost anywhere, yellow lines etc.   NOT IN SPAIN.  A friend had his car towed and he was fined for parking in a no parking area.
