Changing Address for car ownership
The Comments |
Hey everyone, we are moving house tomorrow and we own a Spanish car.
Does anyone know how we go about changing the address with the correct authorities? We will be moving from Alicante region to Murcia.
Thanks in advance.
(BTW The move means I might not be on for a little while to reply)

Hi damok
taken from HERE ..
Change of Address
If you change your address, you should get a Certificate from your Ayuntamiento confirming you are registered on the Padron (local register of all residents) and take this to the Trafico Office in Alicante with 2 passport photos, your Driving Licence + 2 photocopies and Residencia + 2 photocopies.
(Presumably you take yours to Murcia Trafico The info was posted for those living Alicante area I understand).

For simple change of address, we can now do it at our Town Hall branch of Trafico, which can save an awful lot of time and hassle going to Trafico in Malaga, so it may be worth asking at the same time you go to get your Padron certificate.

Brilliant Roberto! Hopefully its the same here. We're off to sort the Padron soon so I'll ask.
Thanks!
