Help needed with setting up a bank transfer to pay taxes
The Comments |
Can anyone give me some help regarding setting up a bank transfer to pay the bill I have for my taxes, I am clear on the receiving bank account number and the identifaction number of the receiving bank , the only think I am not sure about is the CD number, my bank Bancaja is asking for this number on the form that I have got from them (internet banking) but I am not sure if this is a 2 digit number (65) that goes along with the bank branch i number. Can anyone throw any light on this for me.

I have looked at our bank details as they were sent to us by Solbank, and there is a CD number (whatever that is!) and yes ours appears to be a 2 digit number.

It is the 2 digit number which precedes the ten digit bank account number

The full IBAN code for a Spanish bank is in this format: -
IBAN Bank Branch CD Account Number
ES 20 oooo oooo oo oooooooooo
All Spanish IBAN codes start with ES followed y a 2 digit No then the 4 digit bank no, 0081 is Solbank, thn the 4 digit branch code, then the 2 digit CD code, I think this is the check code and finally the 10 digit Account number.

Yes the 2 digit cd code varies with the different accounts you might have in the bank - eg current account and deposit account.
