Damp in property Mar Menor

Hi, just wondering has anybody experienced damp in their properities on Polaris World Mar Menor 1. We bought a Ciervo approx 18 mths ago that had never been lived in. We have had lots of damp on the back bedrom wall, wardrobes and beds, which is now coming into the main living area. As we are only over for odd long weekends at the moment, it is very difficult to speak with anyone.  Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problems and what has ben done (if anyhing) to resolve the problem. Otherwise we are very happy and hope to spend lots more time over there. Thanks Judith

The damo problem is well known on this development as they failed to fit a plastic damp proof membrane at ground level where the outside areas meet the walls

If anybody was around the site 2 years ago you would have seen, and I still have photographs, where Polaris were what we call tanking, digging trenches around the properties, hacking away the damp areas, and fitting the damp proof membrane, to a large number of properties

You really need to speak to your community presidents about this as it will be covered by the 10 year building guarntee and tis is work that PW did on properties at no cost to the owners
