Will any supermarkets be open on Good Friday?

Arriving in Alicante on Good Friday mid afternoon ,travelling
down to near Cartagena, as it's a BH will anywhere be open for milk etc?

I was in spain on fathers Day I can tell you that it was like christmas day in UK everything I mean everything was closed except resturants and petrol stations. It seems to me that the spainish like there holidays, I hope this gives you some idea

If you are travelling down on the N332, I know the Eroski supermarket at San Javier will be open.

Many petrol stations have shops which are open 24 hours, so I suggest that you look out for one of them.

Good advice there, Sue. As you say the petrol stations have basics at the very least. One by us sells wonderful fresh baguettes, saves us going further to shops. I often forget about it though.

Yes, there would be certain Petrol bunks with shops which remain open round the clock. We could find certain super markets too. So, no need to bother about that. Have a nice time mate.
