We are moving to Murcia at the end of August and will be starting to look for a car. We want to be careful where and how we buy as we understand that we could be liable for any unpaid debt or fines on a second hand car. New or second hand -any views?

I am selling my car at the moment. it is a peugeot 107 HDi Urban 2006 and we have just reduced the price to 5500€ O.N.O for a quick sale (new baby, bigger car needed) You are right about being cautious but before you buy a can check for outstanding fines with Trafico.
