If you are thinking of reporting someone in Spain you will have to sign a denuncia. It is important to have your facts right because if the allegations are not proved the person could take a denuncia out against you for false allegations. Strange but true.

what happened to moving to Spain for the laid back lifestyle?

Strange how many posters can't be happy living in Spain unless they slag off the UK. I am very happy to have returned and I don't recognise the place you describe. If anyone returned to the UK 5 years ago (as someone said) then they will have made a good profit on their house and would be in a good position to return to Spain if they wanted to. I too don't find the Spanish as welcoming as they were, it is clear many resent us. Understandably really. Oh and I do speak Spanish well.

As for jobs, forget it. Even with improvement in the jobless figures Andalucia jobless is still around 32%.

There is a new Place in the Sun on channel 4 which may suit the ones who only do positive. They are showing ruins which they claim are great value as prices have dropped 50%! Giving out totally unrealistic rental figures. I think they should be done under the advertising standards act but I am sure some of you will be pleased.

Always offer less and it usually works. There are hundreds, perhaps thousand of owners desperate to rent out.be realistic though, there is a point where it isn't worth the bother.
