I want thank you all so much for your input into this subject.
Before moving very far forward in showing my interest in this property or any similar to it, I wanted to understand the feasibility of going for something like this.
I have had a new electricty supply install for some barns and outbuildings on my land in the UK. Wanted 3 phase but that would have cost the earth ( I live in the sticks) so ended up with split phase instead.
Having gone through the process in the UK I wondered how things would be in Spain. ie nearly impossible / relatively easy, but always understood there would a price to pay.
I wondered if anyone on here had already been through this process and knew a ball park figure for the installation per meter or kilometer.
Prior to receiving my actual quote from the electricity company in the UK the engineer who visited did give me this and I was hoping that someone on here had experienced the same in Spain and if so could give me a clue to the sort of figures I would be working with.
I was particularly interested in what inspectahomespain had to say.
1. you have to confirm the property has the necessary bulletins to connect the electricity in the first place.
I don't know what bulletins are ?
Could you please shed as much light as possible on the sort of questions I need to ask and why, to see if mains electricity is actually viable here or any other property like it.
2. does the property have mains water.
This property has a well and is not on mains water.
Does this have any affect on mains electricity?
I must admit I was going to be asking a further question ( after asking about electricity )
What type of company do I need to contact to check the well, to ensure it is safe and that it would provide sufficient water.
