I am sorry to point this out be there were a numbers of serious errors in the last three comments. The problem with living in Spain is that some of the Spanish temperment rubs off. I speak of the widely used Spanish trait of Denial
- Sadly there are 56% of the Spanish young unemployed ( Government Figures) The difference amounts to hundreds of thousands of Spanish frustrated young.
- Spain will always be attractive but just a note from Spanish history. During the time of the Conquistadors so much gold was taken from South America thet it lost it's value. Gold was still attractive but it lost it's value because of oversupply, Spanish property is reflecting the same effect.
- I live in Denia and I have to lament that the wishfull thinking that properties have not dropped by as much as 50% is not true. The windows of the estate agents tells the true tail. E.G 2 bedroom appartment second line pool etc etc under 90,000 Euros.
We can but hope!
