Hi

We purchased an "off plan" apartment number 30 in Gran Mirador 4 near Alicante through MRI (Darragh Macanthony).

We are currently trying to obtain our deposit monies back through the bank guarantee but I have had this translated to English and it does not state the name of the bank giving the guarantee. It does however state the number of the guarantee and that it has been field with the special register for bank guarantees under number *****

The solicitors we are using have been taking an absolute age to advise what is happening. Of course they were recommended by MRI so I have no idea if they are ok or not. We have however been to court and through an appeals process and "won". Still no money returned though. 

We paid 50,000+ euros in good faith and have no apartment, no returned deposit and lots of solitcitors fees. We have a son with disabilities who we have given up work to look after so really could do with the money back that that these so called developers have stolen. I feel robbed, cheated and totally disheartened.

Any advice most welcome. Thanks for letting me share/vent.
