I'd agree with previous posts our last car hire through Dickmans at Murcia was fine but trying to get the insurance deposit back was a complete farce I had to ring Spain from home 5 times before the promise of the refund materialised, by this time I had incurred interest charges on my card. I'd avoid using.

Hi
Has anyone a spanish car that they want to sell in the mojarra/almeia region. We have brought a uk car Vauxhall Meriva across with the intention of transferring it to spanish plates but it seems a lot of bother and cost. We want to spend something in the region if 2 to 3k euros. It just needs to be a reliable runabout.

Thanks Team GB, we have been using the mag box for a few days and it's fine. It freezes very occasionally but we can put up with that. We've got the mag 254 with the faster processor. If it works in the UK then for the cost of 250 euros per year compared to the channels you receive its good value

Hi, has anyone got a mag 250 set top box and brought it back to the UK and then does it work?. I have got a quote to get a mag box in Spain year 1 350 euros and then an annual sub of 250 euros thereafter. We don't have sky in England but if the mag box will work with all the sky channels that that I have been told it will then it seems a good deal and works out at 20 euros a month. In the UK I would imagine that sky will cost a lot more than this. Any thoughts ?

We are taking our car to Spain this year and want to register it onto spanish plates. I've been looking on the Internet and obtained a couple of quotes that are totally different. Can anyone suggest someone who is trustworthy and reliable to do this. We are in the Mojacar area of Almeria but happy to travel if need to.
