The issue has been forced by the Owners/Residents to re-kindle their dreams. Corvera was going nowhere but downhill with Corvera S.L. in place. Now the Golf Course, Clubhouse, Sports facilities and properties will be free to be sold on by the administrators to a new investor(s) that is interested in making the place a success and not just stripping the assets from the original.

Onwards and Upwards !

As a 'President' , I believe I already have a dormant committee in the OWNERS within the Community. I have stipulated at every AGM that along with housing and the administrator, I shall deal with day-to-day running of the Community and it's needs and expenses (this is cosidered as accepted with my re-election). If however there are any 'NEW' outlays on any improvements or major expenses (such as we have just had astroturf layed around the pool area in place of grass) , there will be a costing and benefits report put to ALL owners and it would then be approved or rejected by a MAJORITY vote. I suppose you could call it a 'Democratic Dictatorship'. Whatever, it seems to work well (although we are only a small Community of 16 properties).

1% , therein lays your problem........You have fallen into the trap of believing what you are told !

Legalities do not just end on completion of purchase in Spain, developers don't seem to pay fees etc on unsold properties to their communities or entities either causing a supposedly finished urbanization all sorts of financial problems.

Been through it a few times. All you need is confidence and a big white van.

The main problem with the UK is that they are forever painting arrows on the road not thinking that these will be obscured by the vehicle(s) in front of you, leaving you clueless 90pc of the time.
