Hi
Like many others at the moment we are unable to continue with the payments of the mortgage of our house in Spain.
We asked the manager of the branch to consider the dacion en pago by phone and via e-mail and he said that this bank doesn't consider daciones for those properties that are not the main residence. He asked us that this may change soon. Five months later there is no news and our financial situation is frankly very bad. My feeling is that they just want us to pay for as long as possible.
Is there a way for us to show the bank that actually cannot pay so that they take seriously the possibility of giving the dacion? Maybe by stopping the payments for one month or two? Maybe applying for a dacion through a lawyer in an official letter?
Please any ideas will be greatly appreciated!
Lola
