We're driving from the Bilbao port to Gibraltar in August with 2 kids, ages 6 and 3. We want to take it easy, maybe 2-3 overnight stops each way. With having the kids, is it best to book the overnight stops in advance to be certain of getting somewhere, or are there plenty of places and we shouldn't worry?

Does anyone have any favourite hotels/hostals on this route?

Hi All

I am approaching completion on my property and had always been planning to furnish using a combination of IKEA and local companies. However due to the slump in the market I wondered if anyone had come across any credit crunch-beating furniture pack offers as this would certainly be an easier option but I've always been put off by the high prices.

Is there any benefit to having 2 names on the account (say, for a married couple), or should you just have 1 so that you only have to pay 1 set of non-residence fees?
