The administrator is bound by data protestion law, which prevents him divulging contact details for other owners.

If you want to communicate with the other owners in your community who are non resident / unknown,  you must give your administrator permission to pass your email address to them. Then your administrator can write to all owners, except the alleged miscreant president, stating that you wish to discuss some urgent community business and would appreciate their kind responses directly to you (or via the administrator if they must keep their details private).

"Urgent community business" is enough to fire at least some curiosity and hopefully a decent amount of replies/queries! Of course if there's a decent response you may call an EGM and vote the encumbent out!

Your administrator must advise you how many owners are needed to do that.

Eggcup has posted my philosophy already regarding cowboy customers. There are far more of them than cowboy builders, but as one progresses through experience as a builder it becomes a little obvious how to avoid problems with payment.

Definition of a cowboy builder,,,,,,,he only works for cash

Definition of a cowboy customer,,,,I will pay you cash (no vat)

If, in a deep recession I accept cash or lose the job, then I'm a cowboy, but I always have a written and signed contract stating exactly what is to be done and exactly what it will cost. Any variations asked for by local authority, customer or for any other reason are NOT to be included in the contract sum and must be costed, agreed and ordered in writing.

Oh, and I think we all know about the dubious background of the little bald fellow on TV who's name mustn't be mentioned :-)

First and last time I used Auriga thro Carjet at Alicante in May 2007

Queued for one and three quarter hours, thus missed a crucial appointment. Carjet would not apologise or offer any incentive to use them again.

Cheap...I know why!.

Pay another fiver and use Centauro!
