The key to this debate....is that everyone is different...and thats why "community" will work for some and not others....

 

 And yes, i am sure there are some communities that have issues but i am sure on a street without a community you could equally have issues with noisy/inconsiderate neighbours...

 

When i came to Spain we rented a house on a street and proceeded to bbq, sit, on the front terrace....we invited a family round who had already lived in Spain for 10 years and they suggested...if we sit in the back terrace it will be more "private"...and thats whats we do when we visit their house...."hide" in the back garden...

 

Not for me...but there you have it...different strokes for different folks...

I dont think its a myth Tamaraessex

The statistics speak for themselves.

Many people go for good reasons but i think the % is higher for people going knowing full well they will be "looked after".
