Hi everybody,
we are two guys from Germany and Brazil with a big experience in Spanish, and we need your feedback on our latest idea: To Learn Spanish by Playing a Video Game.
Here it is: In the last months we have developped a new and innovative way to learn Spanish. Our idea: instead of teaching a language using the traditional way (showing pictures with new words and repeating vocabulary), this method puts users in an interactive adventure story that plays abroad, creating moments which one could usually only experience while being in the respective country.
The user learns the language by being part of a virtual world, by entering different scenes, looking at objects, using them and talking to characters. See the trailer for more info.
You can download the first chapter for learning Spanish from our web page XPLingo - Play your Language! (PC, Linux and Mac version available). If you like it, we would like to ask for your support to spread the word, since we are currently preparing a Kickstarter campaign. Well, we will do so, in case that there are enough people who like the idea.
We are looking forward to hearing your feedback!
Best regards,
Ingo and José (we call our project XPLingo - Play your Language!)
