hi bill & eddy,i live in campello just north of alicante, i still have my land line with telefonica,which of course have to pay rental for but have just changed my mobile ,calls,and internet connection to orange,check with orange in england before you leave,good deal at the moment,   hicky.

ps,i did my contract here in spain,maybe you will have to do it from here not sure,hope this is of help.

talking of bugs,we did have a problem with ants and the odd roach,we were recomended a product called ZUM which can be bought in carrefour,,its in a spray can,use it around the primiter of your property and nothing will cross it,spray under units ect ,it will kill what you have already in residence,

it worked for us,one good spray twice a year,we also use it in the garden,its a fantastic product,

not sure local elections are over yet,its all a big buzz over here,just like elections in uk ,lots of leaflets and banners ect,not sure of voting day,will find out ,
