Hi. Not sure if this is of any help, but I bought an apartment on one of the ex-Polaris golf resorts (Hacienda Riquelme) this summer. I've never bought in Spain before, but could recommend the lawyers I used (even if I felt I had to push them along a bit). The main reason I bought was that prices had come down considerably on this resort mainly due to the developer going bust (after the development was completed) and then the bank who took over (CAM) having their own financial difficulties.

 

All in all, I got a great apartment at a good price - happy to share any tips etc with you
