Hi Jojan
You will not struggle to find many superb places to eat , just by stepping a few yards of the beaten track . By doing this I would be very surprised if La Pagola became some where that you visit regularly. Our lasting memory was a game being played by the customers in there, it seemed to involve getting the waitress/manageress to partake in a conversation OR smile !

Hi Jojan, Re the Pagola Restaurant. We ate in there a couple of weeks ago. It was the most expensive meal we had during our stay ! Certainly not the best ! and an atmosphere that I would describe as being the equivalent to eating a packed lunch in a dentists waiting room !

Hi Robmct. We agree fully about the Slow Boat to China. Worst food, worst service worst ATTITUDE we and others have ever experienced. They seem to work on the " Let people moan, another mug will be along in a minute " theory. That is probably OK in the busy summer months, lets see what happens when it is quiet. We were recommend to the smaller one next door by a local restaurant owner and have never gone back. This message was last edited by jackie12 on 6/2/2008.

We just got back from a week in Duquesa and flew with Monarch from Luton to Gib. The flight going out was delayed by 2 hours and the return flight delayed by an hour. Whilst the Easy jet flight was on time to and from Gatwick. We hope Easy Jet Air will start flying from Luton to Gib This message was last edited by jackie12 on 6/2/2008.

Up the steps at the side of the Jolly Sailor, turn right past the Straw Donkey (wave to Will) Straight on under the arch and it is on the right (Blue & white) . Family run , friendly , relaxed .
