Yet another crap world cup, with half empty stadiums, no fan atmosphere except for some dimwits with foofoozelas or whatever they're called!! spoiling things for real fans! You think they would have learned by the South African blunder, possibly the worst world cup ever? Or at least in my time.

Well when you've got 22 crooked cronnies in a locked room making decisions of this magnitude, nothing surprises.

Dissappointed, that I may never see a world cup in my lifetime but you never know, I may give Jim Boyce a call at the Irish F.A., tell him to get a bid in for 2026!! for Northern Ireland. May aswell, as they seem to be awarding it to anybody!!

But what is relevant is that EU subsidies and funding to Spain is 100% in the hands of the EU parliament, and that is where we want the EU to intervene? The only place to hit these people is in the pocket. And knowing their current economic situation they can ill afford to lose out on any freebies that may come their way!

Maybe techno would like to comment on how great living is in this lawless society? Oh that's right, he hasn't been affected by it? Not yet anyways!!

But just my opinion.

Hi all,

Not sure whether our MEP's can do anything anyways!!

Just had reply number 2 from an MEP in my area ( after writing to 7 MEP's ) saying that there's not a lot they can do!! They thought it was a Spanish national matter!!! Have given more detail,at my MEP's request,  regarding my lawyer, Spanish bank involved, etc. so here's hoping, but looks like we can only get somewhere in the European parliament if we had a lorry load of UKIP Marta Andreasen's grabbing Zapatero and the rest of those cronies by the short and curlies!!

Just my opinion but.
