Hi All,
I may have asked this before on this forum but can't find any answers so apologies in advance
When we move over we want to bring our jet ski but I've heard that the RYA /ICC,s are not accepted in Spain, the strange thing is, you can take an RYA course in Spain. Spain, Portugal and Greece did not sign resolution 40. So where does this leave an expat. Well it doesn't it seems you have to take the Spanish tests, if you keep/use your boat/ski in Spain for more than 182 days and I think you are charged 12% import duty ( WELCOME TO SPAIN) As far as I know this does not apply to France so it's possible to live there and bring and use the boat in Spain and pay all your taxes in France so Spain loses out on all my dosh.
Unless you know different?
