Yes that's helpful, mucha gracias. Now  I  need to register, sort out my driving licence to a Sapnish one and buy a cheap second hand car.

Yes I agree, driving a Spanish reg. car other than a rental one would confuse the police. I have heard of this happening and the police were not very happy. I think the best way is just  getting a Spanish licence then your safe............I presume.
