We too started to buy at ACC in 2005.  We got "all" our money back with a solicitor who promised it nback within a month.

We didn't get our 3000 euros deposit and we had to pay 4000 euros to the solicitor, but only AFTER our money was in our Bank.

We are so thankful to have the bulk of our money back.  We weren't put off Spain and in 2007 moved to La Vinuela and love it here.  We have been back to the site several times and realise how remote we would have been there.  Forget all these urbanizations and find a house in a real Spanish village where you live with both Spanish and a few English.
