Good moring,

                   You are all talking about delays and problems with paper work after the properties were completed,weare talking about after 10 years the properties not even started.There are hundreds of us in this position and our deposits should have been protected under Spanish law (lay 57/68 from 1968) this never happended in hundreds of cases hence 10 yrs on they still have our deposits,this is not right ,fair or legal.My develepor was Aifos but there many more ther is an estimated 185 million euro of deposits lost in just 5 devleopments all we are asking for is justice not a hand out. It would help if every body who finds themselves in this position to come forward and post it os this forum or any other promanent media.

                                                                        Sorry for going on but I myself have up until now have lost most of my daughters inheritence as the appartment was for her when she lived in spain,she is now in england,Iam now coming up to 70 and still hoping the law and right will come through.I await with interest you replys if any.

Dear Sirs

I was very interested to learn of your programme encouraging British Citizens to invest in Spain.  Maybe you are unaware of the thousands of Britons who have fallen foul of the corrupt system within Spain which has led to us losing tens of thousands in lost deposits.  Many of us have won lengthy and costly court cases and awarded judgements against developers which are unenforcable due to the slow and corrupt system.  Many of these deposits were lodged over 10 years ago and no help is available from UK or European Courts.  Our Euro MP has stated that the UK are aware of these problems but felt unable to assist due to the economic situation in Spain which would be further weakened should they be forced to play fair and return monies illegally obtained!

Maybe any would be purchasers of any spanish property/land investments should be made aware of the above before proceeding and your company may like to investigate commissioning a progamme to highlight this unacceptable and unfair situation which has resulted in many Britons who acted in good faith and abided by the rule of law only to lose life savings with seemingly no redress of support from anywhere.
